Utility Bill Assistance
The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a once-a-year assistance with utility bill payment offered to income-qualified households facing difficulty paying their gas or electric bills. Qualified families will have their account credited with amounts ranging from $178 to $297 per year, depending on their household size and income. Like the LIHEAP/DOE Weatherization Program, HEAP services are made possible through Federal grants from the LIHEAP and DOE.
You may qualify for assistance if your household’s total gross monthly income does not exceed the income guidelines listed below.
