About PACE

The Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE) was founded in 1976 with a grant from the City of Los Angeles to address the employment and job training needs of the Asian Pacific Islander communities.  As its program and management experience broadened over its 30 years, its commitment to serve expanded to include all ethnic and immigrant communities within its service area.  PACE services now encompass environmental services, workforce development and job placement, business assistance, housing services and early childhood education.  PACE is located in Central Los Angeles with field offices in outlying areas including the San Gabriel Valley and the South Bay.  The agency has a diverse multi-lingual and multi-cultural workforce of 285 employees, meeting the various needs of its constituent communities.
